Supplies

Photo of what you want to make into a puzzle

Mod podge

Paint brush

Sand paper

Wood I like 18 inch wood

Instructions
I first find the perfect photo of what I want to turn into a puzzle and copy it out on my printer
Cut your wood to fit the photo I like to make mine just a little bigger than the photo so I have a little edge.
Sand the edges of your wood so there aren’t any sharp edges.
With your Mod podge add a little on the wood just to cover the wood ( less is better with this project)
Let it kind of dry a few minutes till its tacky then add your photo and press it out smoothly.
Now its time to draw your puzzle pieces onto your photo make sure it’s really dry. Any shape will work I just try not to go through a face.
I use my scroll saw to cut out my puzzle pieces if you don’t want to use wood you can use cardboard and that would be fun to.

Enjoy many many hours of fun

I like to ink all my edges to give it that old look

Instructions and Tips
  1. I found this little photo cube at Target yesterday (In the dollar section) and was so excited to create with photos of my favorite people
  2. It just comes apart and has a paper box that you can embellish
  3. I cut the squares to fit the paper box 3 1/4 this fits the sides just perfect you will need 6 for each cube
  4. I inked all the edges with some brown ink to give it that fun look well... I just love ink what can I say
  5. Next I cut my photos down to 3 inches just a bit smaller so you can see the colored paper and ink on the edge
  6. Glue on your squares with your favorite glue stick or tape runner
  7. I punched out flowers for the top of my cube and added a cute wire flower embellishment, but you could use anything you have laying around like buttons or ribbon
Such a great decoration to have on your table at Thanksgiving or Christmas, the kids and adults love to look at them and it brings back memories and great family time
ENJOY!!!
