Supplies

Photo of what you want to make into a puzzle

Mod podge

Paint brush

Sand paper

Wood I like 18 inch wood

Instructions
I first find the perfect photo of what I want to turn into a puzzle and copy it out on my printer
Cut your wood to fit the photo I like to make mine just a little bigger than the photo so I have a little edge.
Sand the edges of your wood so there aren’t any sharp edges.
With your Mod podge add a little on the wood just to cover the wood ( less is better with this project)
Let it kind of dry a few minutes till its tacky then add your photo and press it out smoothly.
Now its time to draw your puzzle pieces onto your photo make sure it’s really dry. Any shape will work I just try not to go through a face.
I use my scroll saw to cut out my puzzle pieces if you don’t want to use wood you can use cardboard and that would be fun to.

Enjoy many many hours of fun

Christmas card gifts

A fun idea to create a gift that will last forever what to do with all the Christmas gifts you get.

Christmas cards that turn into neighbor gifts

Have you ever wondered what to do with all the Christmas cards you get? Well this is a great gift that will last forever.

Supplies

3 inch plastic bulbs or bigger

Christmas paper

Double sided tape

Christmas ribbon

Pipe cleaners

Hot glue gun

Photo cards

Felt

Glitter

Small seed beads

Instructions
I first draw a circle around the center of the photo so it sits just the way I like you can cut out the family name and date if you want to add to the back of the bulb.
Cut the photo out and glue to a piece of felt or paper
Add a small amount of the seed beads or glitter in the bulb
Then lay your photo card that you have cut to fit the bulb out over the opening and hot glue around the edge of the bulb
Using your double sided tape wrap around the bulb and add your ribbon
I use a pipe cleaner to hang my bulb on the tree
You can add any fun embellishment to the top of the bulb if you like
Now it’s ready to give back to your neighbor so they can hang it on there tree for years to come.

Hand beaded felt Christmas stockings

Beaded felt socks

Supplies needed for this creative hand made project
  • Felt
  • ribbon
  • beads and any bling you love
  • good siccors
  • felt glue
  •  floss
  • Sewing machine

1. Cut your felt sock and the pieces for the toe and top of the sock
2.With your floss I did a blanket stitch to sew on my felt piece (but you
can use a sewing machine or fabric glue as well, I just wanted that hand made look

3. After you have all your felt pieces on
its time to sew around the edges of the sock,  I left a 1/4 lip on my sock

4. Now that you have your sock stitched together it time to "EMBELLISH" your sock with anything you want!! YAHOO there is no wrong way to do this remember you want it to feel like the person your creating it for
5. I did this for each one of my bitty bums and had so much fun thinking of each on of them while creating their sock
6. I used my floss to sew on the buttons I want to make sure they wont come off

7. Time for the bow or ribbon

As you can see ...I have had a ball creating these socks that my bitty bums will have every year, and know that they were made with LOVE from me!!
Have fun creating and may you have pixie dust in all you do and all your DREAMS come true.
